Wilmington, DE | May 26, 2011 — 1-800-Flowers.com, Inc. acquired FineStationery Solutions, Inc. (“FineStationery.com”) from TPG Global.
FineStationery.com is a retailer of personalized stationery, invitations and announcements. The purchase price, which included the acquisition of inventory, production equipment and certain other assets, included cash consideration plus additional consideration based upon achieving specified operating results during fiscal 2012 through 2014.
The acquisition is part of 1-800-Flowers.com’s continuing effort to serve the thoughtful gifting needs of its customers, and leverage its business platform, where appropriate.
FineStationery.com brings printing and customization solutions to 1-800-Flowers.com, allowing it to compete with other online custom printing organizations such as Shutterfly.
