Las Vegas, NV | July 14, 2021, — Trend Nation, a privately held predictive analytics and Amazon private label e-commerce company, announced that it has been acquired by Skybox Capital.
Trend Nation operates as a private label Amazon seller across multiple massive product categories, including home, apparel, and outdoor & garden. It was founded in 2007 and operates eight multimillion dollar brands, including Funziez, Silver Lilly, Ross Michaels, Green Lighting, and Mindful Design, among others. Uniquely for private label sellers, Trend Nation developed its own proprietary inventory management, ad-spend management, and predictive analytics software, which allowed it to profitably sell existing ASINs and ideate new brands for marketplace selling.
Skybox Capital is the family office of Jerry Bednyak and Eric Vassilatos, the co-founders of Vivid Seats. Vivid Seats was acquired by Vista Equity in 2016, acquired by GTCR in 2017 and merged into SPAC Horizon Acquisition Corp in 2021 for $1.96B with Fidelity Management & Research Company and Eldridge Industries as PIPE investors.
Two Roads Advisors acted as the sole investment banking advisor to Trend Nation.
